Unlike the popular rom-com Sleepless in Seattle, you’ll find that the Pacific North West has so much to offer, you won’t want to go to bed! The city, based in the state of Washington, is one of the most interesting and diverse of all in the US. It offers urban delights and natural beauty. Below we’ve highlighted some of the best things you can do whilst visiting Seattle.

Museum of Flight

Famous as the home of Boeing, the Museum of Flight is a must-see trip which is fun for the whole family. You’ll be blown away by the number of planes and aircraft in the museum, including sections of military planes and space exploration. You can climb aboard JFK’s Air Force One jet, and sit at the controls of the world’s fastest jet.

Snoqualmie Falls and Seattle Winery

Head out of the city to one of the state’s most popular natural attractions – Snoqualmie Falls. This stunning waterfall offers a climb up the side of the waterfall suitable for the whole family, with an incredible viewing platform at the top. If you’re not travelling with small children, why not enjoy the six-hour wine tour, including the world-famous Chateau Ste and a family owned winery? After the first sip, you’ll understand why the region is so famous for its wine industry.

Sushi and a game!

Being a coastal state, the city is a seafood lover’s dream. Take in sushi at one of the amazing restaurants downtown, then head to Safeco Field to take in a Seattle Mariners baseball game. Be sure to enjoy the game snacks, including fries so covered in chopped garlic you’ll need the apple slices to cool your mouth down! Also if you want to cook in, head to the world-famous Pike’s Place market an iconic part of the city’s history and a great place to grab some fresh seafood to cook!

Before you travel to the USA, you need to ensure you’ve completed an ESTA visa application so that your visa is secured for your trip.
